There is a new study coming out from the University of Kentucky that found when it comes to losing weight, what’s eating you may be more important than what you eat.
Researchers divided study subjects into two groups of dieters:
The first group was given instruction on intuitive eating (an approach that teaches you how to create a healthy relationship with your food, mind, and body — where you ultimately become the expert of your own body).
The second group learned tactics for managing stress.
After seven weeks, the members of the first group didn’t lose a significant amount of weight. However, the dieters who were taught stress management techniques did, as much as 17 pounds. Read more…
