New Jersey’s adult obesity rate has more than doubled in the past 20 years.
However, Garden State residents are among the least overweight in the nation, according to The State of Obesity: Better Policies for a Healthier America released in late 2016. New Jersey’s adult obesity rate is currently 25.6 percent, up from 17 percent in 2000 and 12.3 percent in 1995. Read more…
