I feel great and it has only been 10 days post surgery. All my concerns were addressed before my surgery and the new ones since were also addressed immediately by Dr. Seun himself, with a follow up from the office. I feel as though this was the best decision of my life and that with the help of Dr. Seun I will achieve all my goals for a healthier and happy life. Here’s to 2014 a new beginning.

Dr. Seun is a fantastic doctor/surgeon and an even more wonderful person. I was a Lap Band to Sleeve revision and at first was very skeptical of a second procedure. After he explained the pros and cons, he made a clear case that the benefits completely outweighed the risks and he was right!
3 months after my Surgery, I feel better than ever before and am down 45lbs and almost at my thinnest weight and for sure, at my healthiest. He and his office have been there to answer and questions or concerns and are always very helpful. This was the best decision I could have made for myself and I have him to thank.

I had my Gastric Sleeve surgery on 10/21/13. In a week I have lost 20lbs! I owe this all to first, God, my husband and family, and lastly Dr. Seun Sowemimo and the wornderful staff at Central Jersey Bariatrics. Dr. Seun has a very comprehensive bariatric program that consists of more education, nutrition, than pushing surgery. The information meeting and support groups were so rich with information and compassion. Dr. Seun was straight forward and caring. My entire process leading up to the actual surgery day was a smooth transition.

It took me quite some time to actually sit down and write this letter to you. It has been a year and a half since I had the gastric sleeve surgery and I am down 130 pounds. I believe he takes genuine concern over each one of us and that is what makes him special! He answered all of my questions, all of my family’s questions, thoroughly explained to them procedures, and guidelines to follow. He came to see me after I woke up from being sleeved, and before I was released to go home on March 7. There are too many good things I can say about Dr. Seun, and clearly not enough time in my day! He has great bedside manner, great patient-Dr. rapport, easy to talk to, shows genuine concern over your specific needs! Just an all around A+++ of a person, and an A+++++++++ of a Dr. Thanks so much Dr. Seun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today is exactly a year since I had my gastric surgery! Just want to thank all my family and friends for their support, especially my wonderful husband who started this journey for us, 143!!!! I feel like a new person! Down 115 pounds from a size 22 To 10! I also want to thank Dr. Seun and his staff at Prime Surgicare for their support and guidance!!!.
Around September 2012, I decided to go to an information session “Is Weight Loss Surgery Right for You” at Centra State Medical Center. Presenting the meeting was Dr. Seun. From that first day, I knew that if I decided to pursue this course of treatment it would have to be with Dr. Seun. I soon followed that session up with a consultation and knew that I did the right thing by not only choosing to have the surgery but choosing to have Dr. Seun as my surgeon. He was very patient and answered any question I (or my sister) had that first appointment. He and the staff were very patient when I experienced some insurance coverage issues. Finally, January 23, 2013 I had my surgery at Centra State Medical Center. Dr. Seun and the rest of the staff were very kind and caring. I felt at ease having the surgery and the aftercare was excellent as well. Dr. Seun’s bedside manner is wonderful.

I have a lot to say to people who are thinking about weight loss surgery because I have gone through it. It is important that you consider and accept what a life-changing event this procedure will be. You need to be 100% ready to commit to change ─ that includes everything from your day-to-day life to the way you chew and drink. If you are ready for it, bariatric surgery is an incredible opportunity to improve your life in ways you never imagined.
