I had the Gastric Sleeve surgery on May 27, 2015. I was in the hospital one night and I was up and about soon after I was out of recovery. Dr. Sean, Gina and the entire office team (Joan, Jessica and Lori) truly know what they are doing. From day one it was a seamless process; they were all very knowledgeable and helpful. They say it starts from the top; well that is true in this case; Dr. Sean is the top and his staff follows him; they are true professionals. The surgery was flawless, I had no pain and was very fortunate not to have any gas pain. Dr. Sean had everything down to a science for you to have the best possible experience. The nurses of CentraState Hospital were excellent and you can see they too work as a team with Dr. Sean. Both Dr. Sean and Gina spent a lot of time talking with me in the hospital, which was a blessing, since this surgery is life changing. They answered all my questions and I felt confident I made the right decision. I am doing well and I would like to thank Dr. Sean and his team for a job well done!!!!!!

Thanks to Dr Sowemimo and his wonderful staff I have a new lease on life. After years of struggling with my weight and eating habits, I made the decision to get help… that’s when I contacted Dr Sowemimo office.
At that time I was 288 pound standing at 5’8″ with multiple health issues. High blood pressure, lower back pain and sleep apnea. Along with the embarrassing times when I just didn’t fit into clothes or a booth at a restaurant.
So on 2/28/13 I received the help I need and the support. I’m happy to say it has been two years and three months. I still stand at 5’8″ but 190 pounds.

I’m sitting here thinking how blessed I have been to have been a patient of yours Dr. Seun ..I have never known a Doctor to care about his patients the way you do!!! Your staff ..Gina ..and every girl in your office are so comforting so kind so caring so Amazing ..I have never in my life known such incredible people …you treat your patients with care and respect and make us feel important like we matter …if the Lord My God came to me and needed surgery or a Doctor …I would be proud to turn him over into your hands ..Dr. Seun you are so much more than a doctor ..may you your family and staff and all your patients have a wonderful Easter ..I love you all!

I had been thinking about having bariatric surgery for some time and had my initial consultation with Dr. Seun in September of 2014. He explained everything from the start of the process to what I’d have to do to be successful at weight loss afterwards. He was very thorough, helpful and has an excellent “bedside manner”. I had a bariatric gastric sleeve surgery performed on February 18, 2015 and am already seeing improvements in my size, my energy and my overall disposition. It’s going to be a long road ahead, but it’s one that I’m certainly going to travel well knowing that I have Dr. Seun, his office, and all his past and present patients in support. Thanks Dr. Seun!

February 18th marks two years since my surgery! Life is drastically different 108 lbs lighter! I would do it all over again! I feel amazing, I’m fairly happy with how I look, and I’ve watched my closest family and friends transform their lives as well! Dr Seun- Prime Surgicare, Central Jersey Bariatrics, thank you! I love you! And I love me! Now let’s pop out baby number 2 and head back to my goal!

I just want to say that this experience was awesome. I received all the information about the procedure I was going to have, the support from the medical staff and the assurance that I would be taken care of with the utmost respect and care. First I would recommend the gastric sleeve to all who are battle with the disease of obesity. Then I would highly recommend Dr. Sowemimo and his staff to do the procedure. Although I was somewhat apprehensive to go through with this, I was given assurance and confidence that if I followed the directions, I would find success. My pain was minimal and my recovery was quick. And so far the results are phenomenal.
