Heard so many horror stories about this surgery I was going to need. Went on Zocdoc to find a doctor for a bellybutton hernia surgery and found Dr. Oluseun Sowemimo. I had the surgery done on the 30th of September, and it was nothing close to what I was expecting. I applaud Dr. Sowemimo on a great job. The pain and swelling subsided within a few days, and the soreness dwindled a bit until my post op on the 8th. I was amazed with the quickness of the recovery and the little pain I endured. I was up and cooking the day after the surgery. Highly recommend Dr. Sowemimo if you are looking for this type of surgery. A+++

Had a small umbilical hernia. Dr. Sowemimo and his team did an outstanding job. Surgery went perfect and smoothly. He’s very knowledgeable and won’t make you feel rushed at all. He answers all your questions and concerns and just an overall great guy. His staff are great too. Everyone’s sweet and had a nice attitude towards me every single visit which makes going that much easier. I’m praying I don’t get another hernia but if so, Dr. Sowemimo here I come!
