The process could not have been more fine-tuned and punctual. I spent no wasted time waiting in Dr. Sowemimo&#8217;s office or in surgery. In fact, I showed up early for my surgery and they took me in immediately and got the process underway.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sowemimo fully updated my wife in the waiting room before I woke. She was impressed with his thoroughness and manner&#8230; this hasn&#8217;t been her first time in the waiting room either.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color: #008080;\"><em>This was the first surgery I&#8217;ve had where I experienced so little pain I did not even bother filing out the pain med prescription. <\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Surgery was Thursday afternoon and I only took 2 ibuprofen Saturday afternoon for discomfort from swelling&#8230; mostly my fault for not keeping ice on the site.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Sowemimo is a bit younger than some of my previous surgeons, and I feel like he hasn&#8217;t been worn down by 50+ years in the operating room&#8230; he genuinely cares. Yet it is apparent he has no lack of experience as evidenced by my absence of pain and problem-free recovery. (It&#8217;s been 3 weeks since my surgery and all is going well!)
