One of the sessions I have found particularly valuable is “Bariatric Endoscopy Hands-On Lab.” This intensive, hands-on course is invaluable for refining the skills necessary for complex endoscopic procedures, directly helping to ensure positive patient outcomes. Another highlight is the session on “Enhancing Outcomes Through Support Groups,” which underscores the importance of comprehensive patient support in achieving long-term success after bariatric surgery (check out our long-running in-person and online support group meetings for gastric sleeve, gastric bypass, bariatric revision and lap-band removal warriors)
“The MBS Butterfly Effect: A Patient’s Transformation and the Impact on Multiple Organ Systems” resonates deeply with me.
It highlights how the effects of bariatric surgery extend far beyond weight loss, improving overall health and quality of life.
